Mariana Rodriguez-Santiago

behavior, neural circuits, hormones

about me

Picture
I'm an NIH MOSAIC K99 postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Biology at Colorado State University. A neurobiologist by training, I study how hormones shape neural circuits to orchestrate behavior. My current postdoctoral work in the Hoke lab uses bioacoustics, neurophysiology, and molecular approaches to examine the mechanisms of auditory-driven behavior within a reproduction context.

Outside of lab, you can usually find me on a hammock by the river reading a good book. Unless it's cold. Then I'll be hibernating and trying new recipes until it's summer.
